West End star Jamie Muscato (Moulin Rouge!, Once, Heathers) has joined the 16-person workshop cast of Winghaven Park for the three staged performances set to play London later this year. The performances are planned for September 25 and 26, with 100 seats to be open to the public at each.

Directed by Gabriel Barre, Winghaven Park follows Hollywood starlet Vera Webster as she returns to her sleepy childhood hometown of Vashon Island on a war bonds tour. Set in the Pacific Northwest against the backdrop of World War II, her three-day trip turns into a journey of self discovery as she navigates an estranged sister, a long-lost love, buried family secrets, and the pressures of a career on the cusp.

A developmental production of Winghaven Park was originally presented at Vashon Island’s Drama Dock Theatre Company in 2022. An additional New York industry reading was held in 2023, starring Corbin Bleu.

Muscato will co-star as Rev. James ‘Jim’ Lock alongside the previously announced four time Olivier nominee Summer Strallen (Love Never Dies), Victoria Hamilton-Barritt (Hex) Ryan Anderson (Matilda the Musical), Charlotte Kennedy (Les Misérables), and Anton Stephans (Little Shop of Horrors).

They will be supported by Lloyd Notice (The Lion King), Keisha Amponsa Banson (Girl From the North Country), Alastair Parker (A Christmas Carol), Julie Jupp (A Christmas Carol), Simon Anthony (Guys & Dolls), Kris Manuel (The Phantom of the Opera), Christopher Erasmus (Beauty and the Beast), and Maisie Mardle (Matilda the Musical)

Lisa Peretti has written the music, the lyrics, and the book for Winghaven Park. Music direction, arrangements, and orchestrations are by Zachary Kellogg. This production will feature work by musical supervisor Paul Schofield, set designer Justin William, costume designer Reuben Speed, lighting designer Toby Darvill, sound designer Dan Samson, choreographer George Lyons, and casting by Harry Blumenau. The General Management and U.K. executive producer is Thomas Hopkins Productions.
