Fashion designer and cabaret performer Isaac Mizrahi will play several concert performances in California in the spring.
Accompanied by his jazz sextet, Mizrahi will bring his blend of humor, storytelling, and song to Beverly Hills (April 17 at the Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts), Long Beach (April 19 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center), La Jolla (April 22 at the Lawrence Family Jewish Community Center/David & Dorothea Garfield Theatre), Rohnert Park (April 24 at the Green Music Center/Weill Hall), and San Francisco (April 25-26 at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music/Caroline H. Hume Hall Concert Hall).
Performer, host, writer, designer, and
producer Mizrahi played Amos Hart in the
Broadway production of Chicago and has performed at New York City’s Café Carlyle and 54
Below. He was also the subject and co-creator of the documentary Unzipped. His television career includes
hosting The Isaac Mizrahi Show for seven years and serving as a judge on Project Runway: All-Stars throughout its seven-season run. Mizrahi has directed productions of A Little Night Music and The Magic Flute for the Opera Theatre of St. Louis.
Mizrahi also has his own production company, IM Entertainment. He is currently working as a producer on the new Hulu sitcom, Mid-Century Modern, premiering later this month. His bestselling memoir, I.M., was published in February 2019.
