Grosses Grosses Analysis: American Son Plays to Packed Houses in Final Week on Broadway The Waverly Gallery also ended its run during the week ending January 27.

Christopher Demos-Brown's American Son, which ended its Broadway run January 27, played to 102.18 percent capacity during its final week at the Booth Theatre. The Kenny Leon-directed production, which starred Kerry Washington, Steven Pasquale, Jeremy Jordan, and Eugene Lee, brought in $798,282, up nearly $60,000 from the previous week.

Those who didn't catch the play on Broadway will soon have the opportunity to catch it on the small screen, as Leon will helm a Netflix adaptation with all four actors reprising their performances.

The Broadway revival of Kenneth Lonergan’s The Waverly Gallery, which also played its final performance during the week ending January 27, took in $557,652 at the John Golden Theatre, up over $90,000 from the previous week.

Leading the pack, once again, was the Tony- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Hamilton, which earned $3,147,991, followed by Harry Potter and the Cursed Child ($1,957,299) and The Lion King ($1,850,189).
