Presented by Theatre MAD (Make a Different Trust), a U.K.-based charity with a vision of a world free from HIV and AIDS, the event is now in its sixth year, and is based on the original Broadway Bares concept of Broadway and West End director Jerry Mitchell that benefits Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.
Each act will be created around the theme "Take Off," so all numbers will have an airline theme. This year's choreographers include David Grewcock, Joanna Taylor Goodwin, Racky Plews, Jane McMurtrie, Lee Proud, Mitch Leow, Stuart Rogers-Quish, Sean Parkins, Ashley Nottingham and Aaron Renfree.
The numbers will feature cast members from American Idiot, Cats, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory Gypsy, Mamma Mia!, Matilda, Memphis, Miss Saigon, Sinatra, Wicked and other shows.
