The world premiere of John J. Caswell, Jr.'s Scene Partners starring Oscar winner Dianne Wiest officially opens November 15 at Off-Broadway's Vineyard Theatre. Performances began October 26 and were recently extended through December 17.
The work follows Meryl (Wiest), who late-in-life decides to leave Milwaukee for Hollywood to become a movie star. Joining Wiest are Eric Berryman (Primary Trust) as Dr. Noah Drake, Johanna Day (Sweat) as Charlize, Josh Hamilton (Reality) as Hugo, Carmen M. Herlihy (Mrs. Murray's Menagerie) as Cassie, and Kristen Sieh (The Band's Visit) as Pauline. Click through the gallery of new production images below.

Tony winner Rachel Chavkin directs the new play by Vineyard Theatre’s 2020-21 Paula Vogel Playwriting Award winner.
The production features scenic design by Riccardo Hernández, costume design by Brenda Abbandandolo, lighting design by Alan Edwards, sound design by Leah Gelpe, video and projection design by David Bengali, prop design by Andrew Diaz, and hair and wig design by Leah Loukas.
