Maestro Luke Frazier and The American Pops Orchestra's 2016-17 season kicks off Veterans Day, November 11 at 8 PM in Washington, DC, with I'll Be Seeing You: A World War II Love Story.

The evening features the talents of Ron Raines and Florence Lacey, who starred in the most recent Broadway revival of Follies, as well as Claybourne Elder and Rachel Eskenazi-Gold. This original show, according to press notes, tells the “love story of 'Spark' and Charley Frazier (Luke Frazier’s own grandparents) through actual letters written between the couple during World War II with supplementary narrative. This work pays tribute to a fantastic era in popular music and gives a heartwarming glimpse into the experience of a real-life Navy family during the Second World War.”

I'll Be Seeing You is written by Kelley Lund, directed by Nathan Brewer, choreographed by Kelly Crandall d’Amboise, and features dancers Ronald Brady, Jr. and Hannah Jennens.
