A national tour of the Broadway revival of Fiddler On the Roof will launch in fall 2018, according to the producers of the New York production.
Casting and tour route will be announced at a later time.
The Broadway revival, which stars six-time Tony Award nominee Danny Burstein as Tevye, will end its run December 31 at 2 PM. Upon closing, the production will have played a total of 463 performances.
Burstein, who currently stars opposite multiple Tony nominee Judy Kuhn, was Tony-nominated for his performance. The musical was also nominated for Best Revival and Best Choreography.

Directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher, the production opened on Broadway December 20, 2016, after previews that began November 20 at the Broadway Theatre.
The original Fiddler on the Roof, which opened in 1964, was the first Broadway musical to surpass 3,000 performances. The 2004 revival played 781 performances.
The musical has a book by Joseph Stein, music by Jerry Bock, and lyrics by Sheldon Harnick. A cast album was recorded on the Broadway Records label.
