The Episcopal Actors' Guild has announced its 100th Anniversary Gala will be held Monday, December 4 at 6:00 PM. Tony winner Jim Dale (Barnum) will host the event at New York's Fabbri Mansion/House of the Redeemer library.
The evening will feature performances by Charles Busch (The Tale of the Allergist's Wife), Jennifer Fouché (Chicago), Antwayn Hopper (A Strange Loop), Daniel H. Jenkins (Big River), Judy Kaye (The Phantom of the Opera), Mary Beth Peil (Anastasia), Tonya Pinkins (Jelly's Last Jam), A.J. Shively (Paradise Square), and more.
Mark York (Just Jim Dale) is the event's music director. The gala committee includes Ahron R. Foster (Chair), Paul Bedard, Anstice Carroll, Karen Lehman Foster, Rebecca Lovett, Anthony Newfield, and Jamie Soltis. A live stream will be provided through Transcend Streaming.
The Episcopal Actors' Guild's mission is to provide emergency aid and support to professional performers of all religious faiths, or those without any, who are experiencing financial crisis. The Guild also helps emerging artists advance their careers with scholarships, awards, and performance opportunities. All proceeds from the gala will support NYC performing artists in need.
