The panel will be composed of Kahn's colleagues and friends, including Robert Klein, a frequent co-star; lyricist Martin Charnin; Hello, Dolly! director Lee Roy Reams; Scott Ellis, who was the last to direct Kahn; writer/director Jonathan Lynn; co-star and Tony nominee Walter Willison; Joan Copeland; Maddie Corman; and Lawrence Leritz.
Madison, a former producer at CBS News and a former associate editor of Opera News, is the writer of the new biography about the star, who passed away in 1999, "Madeline Kahn: Being the Music • A Life."
Following the panel discussion, "Madeline Kahn: Being the Music • A Life" will be available for purchase and signing.
Oscar-nominated, Emmy and Tony-winning actress Kahn had a career in show business that spanned several decades. Trained as an opera singer, she made her debut in New York City nightclubs before going on to star on Broadway and in Hollywood.
