Snider became lead singer of the metal band Twisted Sister in 1976 and wrote the hits “I Wanna Rock” and “We're Not Gonna Take It.” He returns to Broadway following his performance as Dennis in the Tony-nominated Rock of Ages, which featured his songs. In 2012, he released the album Dee Does Broadway, featuring hard rock takes on classic showtunes and such special guests as Bebe Neuwirth and Patti LuPone.

The lineup of performers at Rocktopia also includes Train frontman Pat Monahan (who is performing through April 8), Robert Evan (Les Misérables, Jekyll & Hyde), Tony Vincent (American Idiot, The Voice), Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Chloe Lowery, Kimberly Nichole (The Voice), and Alyson Cambridge (The Merry Widow). Robin Zander, lead singer of Cheap Trick, will be a special guest vocalist in the show for the final week of its limited engagement, April 23–29.
