U.K. stage alums Declan Bennett and Tony nominee Samuel Barnett have been tapped to lead a new production of Kiss of the Spider Woman. As previously announced, the Manuel Puig play, featuring a new adapted script from Allan Baker and José Rivera, will run March 8 through May 5 at the Menier Chocolate Factory.

The Laurie Sandom-helmed production will officially open March 21.
Set in a Buenos Aires prison, Kiss of the Spider Woman follows the relationship of two inmates who share a cell: a revolutionary and a window dresser, who dreams a fantasy world involving his favorite horror diva. The play, based on Puig’s novel of the same name, premiered in London in 1985. A musical adaptation premiered in the West End in 1992, with its three headliners (Chita Rivera, Brent Carver, and Anthony Crivello) later reprising their performances on Broadway and earning Tony Awards.

The recording will be available on standard black vinyl, a limited-edition deluxe gatefold "pop-up" vinyl, and compact disc alongside digital versions.
