As part of their Classic Perspective Series, Off-Broadway's Classic Stage Company will be facilitating post-show conversations following select performances of Black Odyssey, set to begin performances at the Lynn F. Angelson Theater February 9.

A modern retelling of the classic Greek tale of Odysseus, Black Odyssey follows solider Ulysses Lincoln on a daunting journey home to reunite with his family. Set in Harlem, Black Odyssey incorporates Greek mythology and African-American history to tell Ulysses' epic tale.

Other conversations throughout the run will touch on topics such as the history of Harlem and its relationship to the arts led by Classical Theatre of Harlem's Artistic Director Ty Jones, and a discussion on Race, Art, and Antiquity with artist Harmonia Rosales.
