Boe, who received a Tony Honor for Excellence La Bohème and is set to join the Broadway revival of Les Miz later this year, is performing a collection of classical, folk and Broadway hits in Phoenix.

Boe will succeed Ramin Karimloo as Valjean Sept. 1, a role he performed at the 25th Anniversary Concert of Les Miz at London's O2 Arena in 2010, and later stepped into the long-running London production for a sold-out six-month engagement.
As previously announced, Boe is replacing Les Miz star Colm Wilkinson's scheduled spot, who was forced to cancel twice due to illness.
Wilkinson, who is best known for originating the role of Valjean in Les Misérables on Broadway and the West End, was originally set to perform in Arizona with the Symphony in Mesa on February 27 and 28 but had to postpone the concerts due to illness. The performance dates were moved to June 4 and 5 at the Mesa Arts Center.
