Broadway Cares/Equity Fights will hold their annual "Broadway Bears" charity event at 7 PM Feb. 15 at the Hudson Theatre (145 W. 44th St. In Manhattan). As usual, the auction will feature dozens of stuffed bears, each decked out in the fashion of a particular theatre production or personality, and signed by the artist the bear resembles. "Dracula" from Count Dracula

Playing the title role in Dracula, Frank Langella was a symphony in black. Like the original, his counterpart here wears a black velvet tuxedo. Notice the vest with black satin lapels and buttons, and the slightly macabre touch of a watch chain fashioned from beads and very small teeth. Black satin also forms the stock around his throat over a pale gray, high-collared shirt. Of course, black velvet is the fabric-of-choice for his flowing cape with its high-flared collar and blood-red lining. Black leather shoes and a sleek brunette wig complete the sexy, elegant, and very dangerous picture.
