
The tour officially launches at the Music Hall in Fair Park in Dallas. Barrett plays Mr. Darling/Captain Hook in the musical that features songs by Moose Charlap, Carolyn Leigh, Jule Styne, Betty Comden and Adolph Green. The show is drawn from James M. Barrie's famed book and play.
Rigby and Barrett previously performed together in the national tour of the most recent Broadway revival of Annie Get Your Gun. Kim Crosby (Cinderella in the original Into the Woods) continues in the role of Mrs. Darling.
Former Olympic gymnast Rigby was Tony Award-nominated as Peter Pan in 1991; when she returned to Broadway with the show in 1999, she won a Best Actress Award from the Outer Critics Circle.

Barrett has performed on Broadway, in London and in productions and concerts around the nation. He starred in the new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's Phantom-The Las Vegas Spectacular at the Venetian Hotel for two years.
Barrett received an Olivier Award nomination for his starring role in the London premiere of the Tony Award-winning Broadway revival of Kiss Me, Kate. His acclaimed performance was recorded for broadcast on PBS and is available on DVD. He also starred in the City Center Encores! production of The Pajama Game and as King Arthur in the Paper Mill Playhouse production of Camelot. He was "Frank Butler" in the Broadway revival of Irving Berlin's Annie Get Your Gun opposite Reba McEntire, "Charles Castleton" in the Alan Jay Lerner musical Dance a Little Closer and "Baron Felix Von Gaigern" in Grand Hotel. He originated the role of "Hannibal (the Cannibal) Lecter" in Silence-The Musical in New York.
Peter Pan is produced by McCoy Rigby Entertainment, Nederlander Presentations, Albert Nocciolino in association with Larry Earl Payton, Michael Filerman, Heni Koenigsberg and La Mirada Theatre For The Performing Arts.
Glenn Casale, who directed the 1999 Tony Award-nominated and Emmy-winning Peter Pan starring Rigby, again directs.
The tour's creative team includes Patti Colombo (choreographer), Bruce Barnes (musical director), Michael Gilliam (lighting design), Julie Ferrin (sound design), Sean Boyd (fight director) and Julia Flores (casting director).
