The BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop will showcase several new works October 24 at 3 and 6 PM at The Marjorie S. Deane Little Theater Off-Broadway. 

The showcase will include selections from works by Amber Treadway and Sarah Nelson, Asher Muldoon and Joel Chapman, Celine Snippe and Jensen Krall, Diallo Adams and Chris Blacker, Diana Lawrence, George Merrick, Ginny Mohler and Connor Marsh, Jack Coen, Lauren Gundrum and Brandon Lambert, Mason McDowell, Pance Pony and Ernie Bird, Ray Bokhour and Simon Gray, Rick Rea, RJ Christian, Sair Kaufman and George Luton, and Tia DeShazor and Derrick Byars. 

BMI's Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop has helped lyricists and composers to develop new works for over 50 years. Past members of the workshop include Kirsten Childs, Frederick Freyer, Nancy Golladay, Arri Lawton Simon, Dionne McClain-Freeney, Mary Liz McNamara, Adam Mathias, Alan Menken, David Spencer, Sara Wordsworth, and Maury Yeston.

The event is hosted and produced by workshop director Patrick Cook. Both shows are free and open to the public with an RSVP
