Bartlett rejoins the company in the role of put-upon hubby Amos Hart; Sabella-Mills will play a two-week engagement as Mary Sunshine; the vacationing R. Lowe will return to that role Sept. 10.

In other Chicago casting news: Tom Wopat will play his final performance as Billy Flynn Sept. 9. George Hamilton will begin his run as that slick lawyer Sept. 14; Hamilton will stay with the production through Oct. 7. Brian McKnight will be in as Flynn Oct. 8-Nov. 18.

Adriane Lenox has extended her run as Matron "Mama" Morton through Oct. 7. Brenda Braxton and Michelle DeJean continue on as, respectively, Velma Kelly and Roxie Hart. (DeJean will play the San Diego engagement of the Chicago tour Sept. 4-9. During that period Tracy Shayne will be Broadway's Roxie. DeJean will return to the New York cast Sept. 11.)

Chicago won the Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical in 1997 as well as awards for actors Bebe Neuwirth and James Naughton, director Walter Bobbie, lighting designer Ken Billington and choreographer Ann Reinking. The original production was directed and choreographed by the late Bob Fosse.

Show times are Tuesday and Sunday evenings at 7 PM, Wednesday-Saturday evenings at 8 PM with matinees Wednesdays and Saturdays at 2 PM.

Chicago's cumulative audience tally for Broadway reached a total of five million patrons at the Aug. 3 performance.
