The series stars Academy Award winner Anthony Hopkins ("The Silence of the Lambs," Equus), an inventor who runs an adult amusement park filled with lifelike robots. Joining Hopkins are Tony and Academy Award nominee Ed Harris (Precious Sons, Taking Sides), Evan Rachel Wood ("The Wrestler," "Across the Universe"), James Marsden ("Enchanted," "X-Men: Days of Future Past"), Thandie Newton ("Rogue," "For Colored Girls"), Miranda Otto ("Rake," "The Turning") and Tony Award winner Jeffrey Wright (Angels in America; Bring in 'da Noise, Bring in 'da Funk). Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy's series was inspired by Michael Crichton's 1973 movie of the same name.
The robots featured in the show can be killed and come back to life with different personalities, which enables actors to play numerous characters, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The series will air in 2015.
