BAFTA winner Anne-Marie Duff (Bad Sisters) leads a new staging of Lillian Hellman's The Little Foxes at London's Young Vic Theatre, officially opening December 11 after beginning previews December 2. Lyndsey Turner is directing the revival, with the limited run continuing through February 8, 2025.
The company also includes Mark Bonnar, Andrea Davy, John Light, Freddie MacBruce, Anna Madeley, Stanley Morgan, Steffan Rhodri, and Eleanor Worthington-Cox. Casting is by Jess Ronane.
“The Little Foxes is a formidable play by a formidable writer—I couldn’t put it down," said Duff in an earlier statement. "It’s a searing drama about corruption, betrayal, and the relentless pursuit of power. At the heart of it is Regina, a charismatic yet ruthless character who, when the reins are unleashed, goes full force to take matters into her own hands. It’s a joy to return to the Young Vic stage and bring Lillian Hellman’s classic play to life with the brilliant Lyndsey Turner.”
Turner's staging features scenic and costume design by Lizzie Clachan, lighting design by Lucy Carter, sound design by Tingying Dong, wig, hair, and make-up design by Kim Kasim, music and music direction by Phillippe Cato, and fight direction by Kev McCurdy.
The revival, part of Artistic Director Kwame Kwei-Armah's final season with the company, is produced in association with Second Half Productions.
