See the pair and the company take their bows, and director Alex Timbers' speech at the Broadway musical's final performance.

The curtain dropped on Beetlejuice for the final time on the stage of the Marquis Theatre January 8. As the musical's company took their bows for the final time, Tony nominee Alex Brightman and Elizabeth Teeter addressed the audience with handwritten signs as they said goodbye. Check out the full video above.

Director Alex Timbers took to the stage after the curtain call to talk about the roller coaster of keeping the show alive on the Broadway stage, thanking a list of people for stepping up to help it continually "rise from the dead." Timbers also spoke about the show's large audience population of first time Broadway-goers and how his "greatest hope" is that Beetlejuice has inspired them to explore more Broadway and Off-Broadway shows.

Brightman was sidelined from the production in its final weeks due to a concussion sustained while performing, but returned for the show's final three evening performances. Understudy Andrew Kober stepped up to play the poltergeist in Brightman's stead.

When Lydia calls on Beetlejuice to scare away anyone with a pulse, this double-crossing specter unleashes a (nether)world of pandemonium.

Beetlejuice features an original score by Tony nominee Eddie Perfect, and a book by Tony nominees Scott Brown and Anthony King. Music supervision, orchestrations and incidental music are by Kris Kukul, and choreography is by Connor Gallagher.
