DESCRIPTION

CAROLYN DORFMAN DANCE SEEKS MALE PRESENTING DANCERS with strong contemporary modern dance and ballet technique, bold athleticism, a broad theatrical range, strong partnering skills, and a keen desire for artistic growth. Dorfman creates work that shares the uniqueness and commonalities of the human story, thus maintaining a vibrant and diverse company of dancers is essential to our art and philosophy, all are welcome and Black, Indigenous and Artists of Color are encouraged to apply. 3 years professional experience preferred

The Company’s 2025-2026 Touring Season includes creation of new work, repertory reconstruction, performances in NJ/NYC and regional/national touring, with education residencies and community engagement.
• Company positions beginning September 9, 2025 (20-hour rehearsal schedule/week)
• Non-union, Minimum 28-week contract
• Rehearsals in NYC
• Legal work status required
• Base salary begins at a minimum of $450/wk.; additional pay for teaching and performance. Select benefits also provided.

Submitting dancers will receive confirmation of their registration and may be selected to receive a request for an in-person audition. Appointments will be scheduled individually. All applicants will receive notification from CDD regarding their application.
