Bucks County Playhouse in New Hope, PA is in search of an Audio & Video Supervisor. The Playhouse has become one of the leading regional theaters on the East Coast and is the largest arts organization in Bucks County. BCP presents a year-round schedule of original productions, featuring stars of the stage and screen, and visiting artists presentations. Its two-acre campus includes the historic Playhouse and Playhouse Barn; Playhouse Deck, a full restaurant and bar; an outdoor courtyard café; waterfall picnic area; river promenade; and the historic Lambertville Hall. About the Position

The Audio & Video Supervisor reports to the Production Manager and is a key member of the Production team, working collaboratively with other members of the team to ensure smooth and successful execution of the overall vision of each production. This is a full-time exempt position with a work week consisting of at least 40 working hours, more as is necessary and particularly around technical periods. Duties of the position will evolve as the organization and its needs evolve.

Compensation

$50,000 per year; health, dental, vision, 401k and other benefits available.

Audio & Video Supervisor Key Responsibilities

· Oversee all Production related audio for Playhouse produced and presented works as well as typical audio related utility such as audio monitoring, video monitoring, communications, etc. and lending expertise of similar audio and video systems where needed both within the Production Department and cross-departmentally around the Playhouse campus.

· Be the primary point of contact for Sound Design and Music Direction teams in the planning, preparation and implementation of production audio elements.

· Be present for all technical rehearsals, and available during performances leading up to opening and/or the first public performance of each BCP produced works.

· Be present and available as necessary for load-in and sound check for BCP presented works.

· Supervise other members of the Sound Department and sound show crew, including the Assistant Audio Supervisor/Lead A1, and other part-time/seasonal/over hire positions.

· Lead the ongoing repair and maintenance of the Playhouse inventory, as well as coordinating and advising on equipment purchases and replacement.

· Other duties pertaining to the key functions of the job as assigned.

The position is allotted 10 days of paid time off in addition to statutory holidays or comp time equivalent, sick leave, bereavement leave, and more as outlined by the company annually.

SALARY

$50,000.00 – $50,000.00 per year
