Gloria: A Life, a new play written by Emily Mann, opened Off-Broadway at the Daryl Roth Theatre October 18.

Starring Oscar, Emmy, and Golden Globe winner Christine Lahti as the title character, the play celebrates the life and enduring legacy of Gloria Steinem; the first act focuses on Steinem's personal life and activism, and the second serves as a "Talking Circle," in which the audience is invited to carry the themes of the play into a conversation of their own.

The production is directed by Diane Paulus and helmed by an all-female creative and producing team of Jenna Segal, Elizabeth Armstrong, Sally Horchow, Janet Kagen, and Alix L.L. Ritchie, led by Tony winner Daryl Roth.
