Screen star Kaitlyn Dever, who previously appeared in the film adaptation of Dear Evan Hansen and alongside Beanie Feldstein in Book Smart, is back again in another film seemingly made for theatre fans. Dever plays the title character in Hulu's Rosaline, a Shakespearean-set teen rom-com, set to hit the streamer October 14.
Based on the novel When You Were Mine by Rebecca Serle, Rosaline is a modern retelling of the Bard's Romeo & Juliet from the perspective of Juliet's cousin...who also happens to be Romeo's ex. Check out the trailer for film above.
The film also stars Minnie Driver as the Nurse, Isabela Merced as Juliet, Kyle Allen as Romeo, and Henry Hunter Hall as Mercutio.
