Trista Dollison, who plays Violet Beauregarde (joined by Alan H. Green, who plays her father Mr. Beauregarde), performed her gum-chewing character’s signature song from the Broadway musical Charlie and the Chocolate Factory on the October 25 episode of The Wendy Williams Show.
Written by Marc Shaiman and Scott Wittman, “Queen of Pop” is the song that introduces audiences to the golden ticket winner.
Backed by the Gum-Chomping Divas, Dollison and Green brought the power before host Williams announced that everyone in her studio audience would get tickets to see the show at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
