The Little Theatre Kid, created by illustrator and writer Ben Diskant, focuses on wholesome art that embraces the sensitive child within, and celebrates the joy of theatre. Using a mix of watercolor, marker, pen, and colored pencil, Diskant’s work centers around a theatre-loving kid named Charlie and his many friends, including Arthur who wants to be a Broadway dancer, Cassidy who is a witch, the Hog Eye from Sunset Boulevard, and many more.

Says Diskant: "My work often centers around my own inner child and my love and curiosity for musical theatre. I spent a great deal of my life trying to erase parts of myself I didn't like...I now have a pen and am drawing them back in."

This special collection, presented by The Playbill Store, celebrates the little theatre kid in each of us.
