Chicago News Second Annual Chicago International Latino Theatre Festival Will Return This Fall Destinos showcases unique perspectives on the Latino experience through the work of local, national, and international theatre artists.

The second annual Chicago International Latino Theatre Festival will return this fall with seven weeks of programming celebrating the work of Chicago-area theatremakers alongside artists from Argentina, Costa Rica, Puerto Rico, and Mexico.

The Chicago Latino Theater Alliance produces Destinos, which takes place September 20–November 4 on stages across the city, including Chicago Shakespeare Theater, the Goodman Theatre, Steppenwolf, and the Victory Gardens Theatre.

The 2018 lineup includes works by Chicago-based playwrights Ricardo Gamboa and Guadalis Del Carmen, in addition to productions from local Latino companies including The Miracle Center, Teatro Vista, UrbanTheater, Aguijon Theater, and Water People.
