Music Theatre International has added Neil Diamond jukebox biomusical A Beautiful Noise to its licensing catalogue. The show is currently touring North America and unavailable for new productions, but interested theatre groups can sign up for notifications on further licensing updates at MTIShows.com.

Featuring a book by Anthony McCarten and created in collaboration with Diamond, the musical tracks Diamond's journey from growing up in Brooklyn to becoming a recording star. Along the way, the show includes some of Diamond's most loved hits, including "I'm a Believer," "Sweet Caroline," "Song Sung Blue," and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers." The show played a Broadway run in 2022, which followed a world premiere at Boston's Emerson Colonial Theatre.

“Writing a show about the life, music, and legacy of the legendary Neil Diamond has been an honor and a thrill," says McCarten in a statement. "This musical has a universally positive and optimistic message that will now be felt by audiences everywhere the show plays."

A Beautiful Noise is more than a musical—it’s a heartfelt celebration of Neil Diamond’s legendary catalog and the power of music to heal, inspire, and bring people together,” adds MTI President and CEO Drew Cohen. “From the first note to the final bows, it’s a fast-paced and dazzling journey that leaves audiences uplifted and singing all the way home. We can’t wait to see how theatres across the country embrace this show!”
