National Tour News National Tours of Broadway Titles Halt Engagements During COVID-19 Pandemic See which productions have been postponed or canceled—and which shows are still playing.

With Broadway productions currently closed at least through April 12 due to coronavirus precautions, there are many shows still playing in theatres around the country. Below is a list of national tours, including those still offering performances and some that have been postponed or canceled.

Aladdin: Remaining engagements in San Antonio (March 25–April 12) and Kansas City, Missouri (April 15–26), have been postponed.

Anastasia: Performances in Tulsa, Oklahoma (originally slated for April 7–12) have been moved to August 11–16; the subsequent New Orleans and Jacksonville, Florida, engagements have been postponed as well. Others have not made an official call yet, though some may join in postponing should mass gathering restrictions remain in effect.

Bandstand: Postponement/cancellations with upcoming engagements in: Schenectady, New York; Morristown, New Jersey; Worcester, Massachusetts; Reno, Nevada; Modesto, California; Boise, Idaho; Sacramento, California; and Lexington, Kentucky.

The Band's Visit: Engagements scheduled through July 26 have been put on hiatus, affecting stops in Richmond, Des Moines, San Francisco, Las Vegs, Los Angeles, and more. Many theatres are rescheduling their engagements for later dates.

Beautiful: Various one- and two-night engagements have been canceled until the fall; check with local venues for performances statuses.

The Book of Mormon: The second national musical (dubbed the Jumamosi company) has canceled all remaining engagements, from the April run at the Golden Gate in San Francisco through the Hershey, Pennsylvania leg scheduled in August.

Cats: Performances have been canceled or postponed in St. Louis, Missouri; Rochester and Schenectady, New York; Fort Wayne, Indiana; New Brunswick, New Jersey; and Midland and Kalamazoo, Michigan.

Come From Away: All Artis—Naples programming has been suspended through April 12. Engagements in West Palm Beach, Fort Lauderdale, and Fort Myers have also been halted.

Dear Evan Hansen: Broadway in Detroit has canceled its scheduled run through April 5, as has the Forrest Theatre in Philadelphia. Performances are currently slated to resume May 5 in Baltimore.

Frozen: The Portland, San Diego, and Salt Lake City engagements have been postponed; the tour is currently scheduled to resume May 6 in Minneapolis.

Hamilton: The production at the Hollywood Pantages Theatre in Los Angeles, California, has been put on hiatus until April 21, and the San Francisco sit-down has canceled its remaining performances through May. There are two North American tours: the Philip tour has canceled performances all remaining performances in Toronto, and the Ottawa run slated for later this spring has been pushed to November 24–December 13. The Angelica tour has moved its Atlanta run to August 4–September 6.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child: Performances at the Curran of the two-part play have been canceled through April 30.

Hello, Dolly!: The tour has canceled all remaining performances. Those holding tickets for performances should contact their point of purchase for more information.

Jersey Boys: Performances are canceled through May—impacting Yakima Spokane, and Seattle, Washington; Reno, Nevada; Thousand Oaks, California; Las Cruces, New Mexico; Tucson, Arizona; and Honolulu, Hawaii.

Jesus Christ Superstar: The Philadelphia engagement scheduled through April 7–12 is affected as the Kimmel Center intends to reschedule all performances through April 11. The Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. has also canceled its April 14–26 engagement. At least some performances in Dallas will be affected as well; details to follow.

The Last Ship: The Washington, D.C., engagement, scheduled to begin March 27 at the National Theatre, has been postponed, with rescheduling details to come.

Les Misérables: The Philadelphia, Pennsylvania engagement scheduled for March 17–29 will be rescheduled to a later time, as will the run in El Paso, Texas, and Fresno, California.

The Lion King: The engagement at the Stranahan Theater in Toledo, Ohio, has been postponed, and the Omaha, Nebraska, run has been canceled. The tour is currently scheduled to resume May 13 in Denver.

Mean Girls: Performances have been canceled in New Orleans, Denver, and Las Vegas. The tour intends to resume April 28 in Los Angeles.

Miss Saigon: The tour has canceled all remaining stops.

My Fair Lady: The Chicago engagement, scheduled for March 24–April 12 at the Cadillac Palace Theatre, has been rescheduled for May 10–23, 2021. The runs in Milwaukee and Madison, Wisconsin have been canceled in accordance with Governor Tony Evers' "Safer at Home" order, and the Cleveland, Ohio, run set for April 28–May 17 has been postponed.

Once On This Island: The tour has canceled all remaining stops (which had been scheduled through July), according to director Michael Arden.

The Play That Goes Wrong: All remaining engagements have been canceled through May.

The SpongeBob Musical: The North American tour has closed due to the health crisis, canceling all remaining engagements.

Summer: The Donna Summer Musical: Remaining performances in Schenectady, New York, Pittsburgh, and West Palm Beach have been canceled. Performances are slated to resume May 5 in Tampa.

What the Constitution Means to Me: Remaining performances at Chicago's Broadway Playhouse have been canceled.

Wicked: Performances at the Overture Center in Madison, Wisconsin, and the Wharton Center in East Lansing, Michigan, have been canceled, with the Ohio Theatre in Columbus preparing to follow suit. The tour is currently slated to play Chrysler Hall in Norfolk, Virginia, beginning May 20.
