Million Dollar Quartet Star Levi Kreis Pounds the Ivories in August 15 Concert | Playbill

Cabaret & Concert News Million Dollar Quartet Star Levi Kreis Pounds the Ivories in August 15 Concert His Broadway at the Keys tour will play Feinstein’s/54 Below in NYC.

Levi Kreis, who won a Tony Award as Best Featured Actor in a Musical for his performance as rocker Jerry Lee Lewis in the 2010 musical Million Dollar Quartet, will again be pounding the ivories 7 PM August 15 when he brings his cabaret show, Broadway at the Keys, to Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York.

The appearance is part of a national tour to support his own solo album of the same title, which was released in March.

Here is a complete track list of the album. Not all these songs will be performed in the show:

“Lost in the Wilderness” (Children of Eden)
“Friend Like Me” (Aladdin)
“Living in the Shadows” (Victor/Victoria)
“Not While I'm Around” (Sweeney Todd)
“Corner of the Sky” (Pippin)
“Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow” (Beautiful)
“Kansas City” (Smokey Joe's Cafe)
“One Song Glory” (Rent)
“In My Own Lifetime” (The Rothschilds)
“Anytime (I Am There)” (Elegies)
“Neverland” (Finding Neverland)
“Wind Beneath My Wings” (Beaches)
“Whole Lotta Shakin’ Going On” (Million Dollar Quartet)

Kreis, who is currently starring in the film A Very Sordid Wedding, the sequel to writer/director Del Shores’ Sordid Lives, said, “My goal is to have a discussion with the audience, not perform at them. You can’t connect with the Everyman and live in an elitist bubble. Music is a raw, real life conversation and that’s what this album and tour is all about.”

Tickets, priced at $35–$65 (plus a $25 food/beverage minimum), can be ordered by clicking here.
