Spamilton sends up Lin-Manuel Miranda's Pulitzer Prize-winning musical Hamilton.

Jason Graae

Musical Theatre West has announced that Jason Graae will play King George in the Long Beach premiere of Spamilton: An American Parody. Graae is no stranger to the work of Tony winner Gerard Alessandrini, having previously been featured in both Forbidden Broadway and Spamilton, in addition to being an original cast member of Forbidden Hollywood.

Alessandrini’s Spamilton not only parodies Hamilton, but takes on Broadway's top talent, including Stephen Sondheim, Liza Minnelli, Patti LuPone, Julie Andrews, and Barbra Streisand. The limited run will feature new, original material tailored specially for Long Beach.

Spamilton opened March 25 and will run April 10 at the Carpenter Performing Arts Center in Long Beach. For more information, please visit Musical.org
