Isaac Mizrahi, the fashion designer and performer who has created costumes for several Broadway shows, returns to Café Carlyle in New York City with an all-new cabaret act, Isaac Mizrahi: Moderate to Severe.
From January 30 to February 10, 2018, Mizrahi will perform hits by Charles Aznavour, Blondie, and Bob Dylan. He’ll be backed by a jazz band led by Ben Waltzer. Mizrahi is promising “new, irreverent stories and … a fresh list of songs, not to mention a fresh stock of swag items to regift!”
Mizrahi serves as a judge for the weekly reality series Project Runway All Stars on the Lifetime Network. He designed costumes for three Broadway revivals: The Women (2001), Barefoot in the Park (2006), and The Threepenny Opera (2006), plus ballet and opera companies.
He was the subject and co-creator of the documentary film Unzipped and has hosted his own television talk show.
Performances will take place Tuesday to Saturday at 8:45 PM. The Café Carlyle is located inside the Carlyle Hotel at 35 E. 76th Street in New York City. Tickets cost $80–$140, and can be ordered by clicking here or by calling (212) 570-7120.
