The Critics Choice Association announced nominations for the Series categories of its 26th annual awards January 18, and while we may not have had much live theatre in the past year, a host of stage favorites received recognition for their performances on the small screen.

Two filmed captures of Broadway productions are up for Best Movie Made for Television: Lin-Manuel Miranda’s Hamilton (streaming on Disney+) and Heidi Schreck’s What the Constitution Means to Me (available on Amazon Prime Video).

Several performers also earned nods for screen roles, including Tony winners Christine Baranski (The Good Fight), John Lithgow (Perry Mason), Cynthia Erivo (The Outsider), Janet McTeer (Ozark), Rita Moreno (One Day at a Time), and Daveed Diggs (The Good Lord Bird); Tony nominees Ashley Park (Emily in Paris), Andrew Rannells (Black Monday), Cate Blanchett (Mrs. America), and Laura Linney (Ozark); as well as Alex Newell (Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist) and Hannah Waddingham (Ted Lasso).
