Gershon, who played Sally Bowles in Cabaret and opposite John Stamos in Bye Bye Birdie, will play Pam Anderson, the mother of Blaine (played on the series by How to Succeed actor Darren Criss).
Gershon posted photos from set on Instagram, including one with Gloria Estefan, who plays Santana's (Naya Rivera) mother on "Glee."

As previously reported, the series will welcome a slew of Broadway names to its final season. "Glee" co-creator Ryan Murphy said in April that the final season "dwells on the original people on the show and what happens to them and how they give back."

John-Andrew Morrison is reprising his Tony-nominated performance in the Michael R. Jackson musical at American Conservatory Theater.
The new musical explores the Women's Suffrage movement's victories and failures with a book, music and lyrics by Shaina Taub.
Adapted and directed by Emma Rice, the Wise Children and RSC co-production plays the Swan.
The production played an earlier run via Ustinov Studio and Theatre Royal Bath.
The Tony nominee is playing slick lawyer Billy Flynn in the John Kander-Fred Ebb-Bob Fosse musical.
