A little fall of rain couldn't keep Broadway fans away from the third and final day of the Curtain Up Broadway Festival from Playbill, The Broadway League, the Times Square Alliance, and Prudential Financial October 2. The theatre-centric event was held in the heart of New York's theatre district: Times Square.

The festival came to a big finish with a Broadway-star filled finale concert hosted by Amber Ruffin and Jesse Tyler Ferguson on the main stage. On hand to perform were Alex Brightman, Sharon D Clarke, Brandon Victor Dixon, Myles Frost, Krysta Rodriguez, André De Shields, Will Swenson, and more, along with performances from A Beautiful Noise, A Strange Loop, Aladdin, & Juliet, Beetlejuice, The Book of Mormon, Chicago, Death of a Salesman, Hadestown, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Into the Woods, The Lion King, MJ The Musical, Moulin Rouge! The Musical, The Music Man, The Phantom of the Opera, Six, and Wicked. The day closed with Drew Wutke and Franca Vercelloni dueling pianos.
