Encores! News Brandon Uranowitz, Heléne Yorke, James Snyder Enter City Center's Grand Hotel March 21 The Encores! production is directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes.

New York City Center’s Encores! presentation of Grand Hotel, directed and choreographed by Josh Rhodes, begins March 21. Performances will run through March 25.

Among the cast are two-time Tony nominee Brandon Uranowitz as Otto Kringelein, Heléne Yorke as Flaemmchen, James Snyder as Baron Felix von Gaigern, and former American Ballet Theatre principal dancer Irina Dvorovenko as Elizaveta Grushinskaya.

They are joined by Tony nominee John Dossett, Junior Cervila, John Clay III, Natascia Diaz, Guadalupe Garcia, Nehal Joshi, James T. Lane, Jamie LaVerdiere, Eric Leviton, Robert Montano, Kevin Pariseau, William Ryall, and Daniel Yearwood.

Rounding out the company are ensemble members Aaron J. Albano, Matt Bauman, Kate Chapman, Sara Esty, Hannah Florence, Richard Gatta, Emily Kelly, Andrew Kruep, Kelly Methven, Harris Milgrim, Adam Roberts, Christopher Trepinski, and Sharrod Williams.

Encores! Music Director Rob Berman conducts the seven performances.

The musical, featuring a book by Luther Davis and a score by Robert Wright and George Forrest (with additional songs by Maury Yeston), opened on Broadway in 1989, going on to play over a thousand performances. Set in the opulent lobby of a prestigious Berlin hotel, the musical features an ever-revolving door or colorful characters, including the faded ballerina Grushinskaya, a bookkeeper in his last days, and a secretary who dreams of Hollywood stardom.
