Abingdon Theatre Company presents a reading of Wade Dooley’s The Prompter February 11 at the Lucille Lortel Theatre.
Scott Schwartz directs the one-night-only event, which features Oscar winner Estelle Parsons with the playwright in the title role.
The play follows veteran actor Irene Young, who, after a 40-year absence, is returning to the Broadway stage. But now, she can’t do it alone; so, the production hires a young actor to be her prompter.
Show time is 7 PM.
Tickets for The Prompter are $26 and are available here.
